1. Information We Collect
We collect the information you give us directly: your email address (and name, if provided) when you subscribe to the newsletter, and your name, email and message when you use the contact form. Like most websites, we also receive basic technical data such as your browser type and pages visited.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your email address is used to send you the newsletter, product updates and related communications you signed up for. Contact form submissions are used only to reply to you. We never sell your personal data.
3. Service Providers
We rely on a small set of providers to run Sunstroke: Supabase (database and file storage), Brevo (sending newsletter and welcome emails), Resend (delivering contact form notifications to us) and Vercel (hosting). Each processes data only to provide its service and has its own privacy policy.
4. Cookies & Advertising Pixels
We use the Meta Pixel to measure visits and newsletter signups from our ads. It sets cookies and sends data such as the pages you view and your IP address to Meta Platforms. You can limit this through your browser's cookie settings, an ad blocker, or your Meta ad preferences. The admin area uses a strictly necessary login cookie.
5. Affiliate Links
Some pages contain affiliate links. When you click one, the destination site may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase to us. This doesn't change the price you pay.
6. Data Retention
We keep subscriber records for as long as you're subscribed. When you unsubscribe your address is marked as unsubscribed so we never email you again; ask us and we'll delete it entirely. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
7. Your Rights
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete your data by emailing hello@sunstroke.tech.
